A beautiful antique Russian silver 84 cloisonne shaded enamel kovsh with swans, the sides of the oval bowl painted with swimming swans within colorful shaded scrolling foliage on turquoise grounds, lobed hook handle, the base engraved with initials SM and inscribed ‘Karlsbad 9 August / 1905’. 84 standard, struck with partial mark, possibly of orest Kurlyukov. Length is 6 inches. Height is 3 inches. Weight is 198 grams.
